» maketickinc's reply: Client wanted the work to be done for free. He has taken all the work from us related to design and integration on his existing site. After getting the work he started changing his specs and demanded it to be done in the new requirement which he claimed that it was in the initial specs but could not prove it. He also haven't paid full amount for this project which is also reflected at GAF. Took the full work and paid nothing for the same.

Maketick did a wrong valutation of our project and after we both signed a Statement of Work and escrowed the money they canceled it sending us a email saying sorry we were wrong. It caused big problems for us, and if we knew it first we could get involved someone who cares about what he's doing when he signs an agreement.
» maketickinc's reply: Thank you for your comment. As soon as it was discovered by our company that the scope of work of the clients project was not congruent to the line of services we offer, we found it only ethical and professional to let him know of this upfront. Since we conduct a clean business we did not want to lead him on. We refunded his money within 3 working days and also conveyed our apologies for any convenience caused. We feel our actions should be appreciated rather than frowned upon.

This provider tries to cut corners at every opportunity. Also demands more money and very shabby work. Lack of attention to detail. Very poor communication, a simple web design job took over 1 month to complete. Be warned provider also uses several fake aliases. Avoid at all costs.
» maketickinc's reply: The client tried from day 1 to evade payment. He didnt pay us an advance&expected us to start work just by trusting him.Thankfully,we didnt. He is fraudulent and malicious&tries to get work done for free. When he did escrow some money,he came back the next day&asked us to refund the money because he was facing a "personal financial crisis".It made us wonder what sort of company this was. After a dispute,he paid the advance and also promised to pay the rest on completion. The client lied&deceived us.Took all the work&did not pay any money.Instead threatened us with dire consequences.I have all the emails&evidence to prove the same.If anyone wants to see, please email me.This client also uses fake email addresses&identities to lead the service provider into believing that there are many associates in the company when in fact there is only one.All fellow freelancers, be very careful of Sam England. He will take your work&your money!
