| Comments: My project made it clear that I wanted a new look for an existing site. Little did I know that these guys planned to deliver 1 html page and some graphics. When asked about integration, they said they did not have the required level of expertise to integrate the design, forcing me to have to bid separately for integration. I see them now bidding on another milliondollarhomepage site, claiming they can create a full clone of it. They have suddenly acquired the programming skills necessary for this kind of project that they didnt have last week.
They cited my statement, no programming needed, as their excuse not to have known not to bid on my project. What will be their excuse for other projects. I felt ripped off over the customisation of my site that they only did half-way. I feel disgusted to see them bidding on a similar project that requires full programming.
I should have stuck to my resolve not to use a provider that uses Geocities for their portfolio. How amateur is that? |
