GAF strongly warned that a project must not be started unless the buyer has deposited ESCROW. We are here for a living not just giving out works without assurance to be paid. Comments: Judging is tough and no one likes to say something bad about someone. I have agonized over this and finally sharing it. iServe promised that he has done 3D Mascots before and I had actually given a detailed requirements document and also a link to a sample image to which the end result should measure up to. - He said he had to pay his brother's college fees and I trusted and paid him in advance against Get a Freelancer's advice never to pay in advance. - This project took 30+ days instead of the promised 3 days. - I gave him feedback in a MS-Word doc with arrows and call outs but it was totally ignored. - My site launch got delayed by a month. I was so depressed and disheartened. - I could not use the end product till date. - I have seen very postive feedbacks too for iServe and may be he is good at those tasks and not just at 3D mascot design. - I think he is a good guy but may be this was not an assignment he should have taken
