Comments: Good - * Responded quickly to all requests. * Patiently worked through repeated changes. * Excellent aftercare, even after payment was made they responded just as quickly and worked until the job was finished. * Met and exceeded all of my functionality expectations. Poor * A quote of 5 days in reality took 3 months to finish. Though this length was also due to me being busy during the project, I provided ample materials on the scope of the project to start with and would have liked a more realist quote. * Lots of spelling mistakes for even easy words in both the admin and site pages, that I had to ask to be corrected. * Very little creative input on the design side of things. It was my first project too, and ccpplinux were were good with their support during this time, and overall I'm very happy with the final product.

Comments: The Database creation and Admin sections along with modification requests were carried out with no problems. The main complexity of this project was the creation of a 13 page PDF document using data stored in the MySQL database. An added problem was that the PDF document was in both Spanish and English. ccpplinux tackled this problem head on and even though there were problems initially displaying Spanish characters in the PDF, ccpplinux persevered and resolved this issue. I was very pleased with the final outcome and will gladly work with ccpplinux again in the future. They certainly know their PHP/MySQL programming!

Comments: ccpplinux is a professional cheater. He bid on the project for 3 days. In the beginning, he really sounded like he knew what he was doing and he communicated well and understood the project. 5 days later, he asked for the escrow money. So I did. After another 5 days, he emailed and complaint about the complexity of the project and asked to write new scripts so I agreed. After another 5 days, he said that he uploaded one of the "re-designed" page on my server. But it turned out that it is the exactly same page I had before. He didn't change one single code! After I emailed him asking why, he tried to trick me by telling me that his code is new and my old page was bad. It just happens that I save all my old scripts on my hard drive so I knew for certain that his “new scripts” are in fact my old scripts. And the copy of my “old scripts” that he sent to me is a copy that he deliberately altered. He wasted 20 days! Check his scripts line by line before you pay him.

Comments: At last they got the job done and did it good and i was satisfied. But it took far to much time. It might also have been my fault cause this was a bigger job than we've had expected. The communication was ok but sometimes I thought they we're a bit slow and had trouble understanding. I mean if you say you're a proffesional programmer you should get things right away and come up with own solutions. In the first phase of the project I had to tell them almost exactly what to do. Sure, it was a a new unknown system for them but anyway. They wrote pretty nice code which was easy to follow. I don't know if I will use them again, if they'd been faster I sure would. I even doubled the salary to make things happen but still there was no sign of real engagement. Time went on and on..
