Incomplete Report: Stephanie did not complete project half-way through because she over committed her time. She chose not to abandon our project and do the other project instead for the higher pay. Time was wasted and production delayed.
 » stephaniepie's reply: Firstly I did not abandon the project half way through, you requested work from me and I commenced, however five articles into the project, which you took with no escrow having been made, I was handed over to another project manager who had different ideas. With no escrow in situ, and the demands of the project constantly changing, I felt it safer to work with a higher paying client who had no problems with paying escrow. Had I at any stage abandonded the project, I would never have notified you of it. Abandonment is a great deal more different to cancellation. In as much as you have the right to cancel a project due to non-compliance with the job spec, so have any writers you enter into an agreement with. Particularly if they beleive the job is not secure, and not paying an escrow denotes this. If you were completely honest, you would also state that the articles I had written, I handed over to you with my compliments, without demanding payment for them.
