Comments: Dragos was very knowledgable about sys admin stuff, though I'm afraid I sent him on an impossible mission: one cannot get ffmpeg working on an ancient OS like FC4, there are too many library incompatibilities. Ultimately I ended up installing it on CentOS 5, which was a breeze. I learned a lot by looking through Dragos' bash_history. Unfortunately some of bash_history got deleted, which was weird and potentially troublesome; otherwise I would give him a 10.
