Comments: The relationship started off fine and full of promise. As expected in these situations full server access was provided. It soon became very apparent that no work was being completed and severe delays incurred. Although promises made they were never kept and we became suspicous of thier motives. In partuclar when they admitted they had been downloading our DB's and content. We then found ourselve being blackmailed and threatened for unpaid fees (although the project was not completed or started) for a sum of $275. The project fee was $75. Despite any form of reasoning they continue to threaten to 'reveiw' our business on 100's of forums unless we pay them the amount asked although no work has been completed. They proffes to have businesses in Ireland and India but cannot show or prove this by way of an Internet site or any other proof. As we explained to them we will pay for work completed (design help) but again they insist we pay them an extortinate figure. If anyone has any doubts before selecting them for a project we have available all email correspondances and YIM logs. It saddens us that there are some 'bad apples' out there that will sour the reputation of GetFreelancer and other good programmers out there and dare I say, the good reputation of people from India for such actions as these can only have make a bad impression on them as a whole. In our experience however most programmers from India provide a decent & honest services. Utilise these people at your own risk and request the logs and emails (zip file) if you have any doubts!
