Incomplete Report: My problems with this company are so involved they would never fit in this little paragraph. I must start this off by saying that I work with International vendors all of the time and have been doing business for about eight years so I am not new the way business is conducted in this manner. Well this is actually a case where the client has not returned the money that I put in escrow for them to do a project for me. I hired this company to do a nice technical project for me and was told that it would take a week to complete. I allowed for a couple of extra days since these things usually a couple of days...

Comments: They're very good programmers. Very fast, if they are actually working on your project. I would recommend them to anyone who's patient and not in a rush. My complaints are, first, the project they developed was NOT Joomla-based, despite the title for the project and the repeated mentions of the word Joomla in the project description. When asked about it, they ignored me. Second, after the deadline of the project, they insisted that they've already developed the module and were in the testing phase. But when they showed me the first demo two weeks after the deadline, many basic functions did not work. It was quite obvious very minimal tests were done. I ended up wasting some time as their QA engineer. That was bad. Third, they asked for more money than their bidding price for a module that they thought I'd need, except that they didn't implement it until asked.

Comments: Very nice finished product, excellent work ethic. This job was originally for integration of OSCommerce and a static website, but the developer thought that a complete rework of the site was a better approach. Since I didn’t care how the task was accomplished but the finished product, I agreed. The goal was to provide a site where we can display and sell rights to photographs. They provided the functionality that existed in OSCommerce such as shopping cart and credit card processing along with a framework for the website with a control panel for management. In addition to the functions we had we now have a structure that we can add components to as we grow. The only negative is that because of the complexity of the rework, the job took longer than originally anticipated. The follow on project to do indexing, search and search engine optimization was also awarded and is nearly complete.
