 » DigitalArtistry's reply: I regret this happened but I kindly informed Dubdesign I was leaving GFA to work for a publication company in the Cayman Islands. I did apologize for this and I hoped she would understand. I felt I did not have enough information to begin the project. She failed to send me the text so I could layout the poster. I do take responsibility for this and I will ask more questions up front to avoid any similar recurring issues like this in the future.

Comments: This guy is amazing. He is the first Graphic designer I have met that doesn't just do what I tell him like a robot, but actually uses his knowledge and skill to give the project direction. If I had an idea that was not so good, he wouldn't just go ahead and do it anyway, he would tell me "this is not such a good idea because of X. You would be better off doing Y instead" So what does that mean? It means that at the end of the job, I had the best damn homepage on the planet that had my ideas with PROFESSIONAL guidance. It could have looked cheap and nasty if he just wen along with what ever I said but his input and advice gave the project direction and made it a work of art. It’s what everyone is really looking for. Someone to synergise with, not just boss around. I mean if I was the creative expert I wouldn’t need a designer would I? I highly recommend him.

Comments: Anyone who has posted a project to have a logo made should stop what they are doing IMMEDIATELY. Don’t make the same mistake I made. I spent HOURS looking over the portfolios of different candidates for the job and it was all just a waste of time. I should have just selected DigitalArtistry as soon as I saw his portfolio. I thought to myself that I may find someone better if I keep looking but guess what. I didn’t. I have had plenty of design work done in my time but never have I come across anyone so talented, creative and professional as this guy. I just told him what I was looking for and within a matter of hours he had samples for me to choose from. The problem I had was that the samples were so good that deciding which ones to scrap was too hard. DigitalArtistry is easy to get along with, is happy to hold your hand through the whole process and deserves way more money than anyone here could offer him. Stop wasting your time and just select DigitalArtistry now
