Comments: By far THE BEST freelancer I have EVER worked with! Cam went so far above and beyond what I thought this project would be that it blew my mind. IF YOU NEED A PROGRAMMER THEN LOOK NO FURTHER THEN THIS GUY! This project ended up being quite a bit bigger then both of us realized at the beginning, but not once did Cam complain or act irritated. His communication was FLAWLESS! Any modification I needed him to make along the way, whether big or small, he took care of immediately. Every step of the way I knew exactly what was going on. THE JOB THAT CAM DID FOR ME HAS SAVED ME 2 EMPLOYEE POSITIONS. I will be using him for any/all programming jobs in the future. FOR SURE ONE OF THE BEST KEPT SECRETS ON GAF. I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND HIM!

 » camMcKinnon's reply: Basically, the software that midwestallstar1 wanted me to develop was legally questionable at best, and definitely immoral. That said, he did seem like a good guy to work with (for example he put the $700 escrow in my account right away), so I encourage you to work with him on projects in the future if they are legal in nature.

Good work, Gets the job done, will do what is needed even if its a daunting task! this is the kinda person I can honestly see my self working with on tons of stuff.. if you want someone who will keep you in the know about whats going on and even more (helped me on totally separate issues as well) plus you can learn a thing or two from a person like this! so another 10/10 because I have dealt with my share of bad and "half job" people and this is NOT one of them.. Incomplete Report: Despite waiting for several weeks over this project which was due by 5/5/09, the provider not only lacked the courtesy to reply to my numerous pleas on knowing the status of the project, but also completely failed to deliver the product. He is simply "absconding" as far as I am concerned.
 » camMcKinnon's reply: All of this is untrue. I think I'm getting very sick and tired of being abused by the buyers here on this site... First that other guy, now this one... It was an EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING experience working with 'mawor'. This buyer had HORRIBLE instructions, nothing was clear - I attempted to communicate, and received sub-par responses to all of my inquiries... I will NOT work with mawor again!

 » camMcKinnon's reply: Here's what happened: He lured me in with a somewhat shady offer saying he wanted me to complete a website for free. but with some benefits. Being polite, I responded saying I suppose we could look into it. He had me bid on two projects, one so that we could get contact information, and the other so that he could send me a small escrow payment for a small unrelated project. We began discussing the free website project, and it turns out that the benefits aren't really what I was looking for in a project. I politely told him so, but in his response he was rude, and called me a fool. Here's the thing - he was really good up until that point. So, given the reviews he has, and the fact that he was good until then, I'd recommend CP, but just be careful not to post any bids until you know EXACTLY what's happening, or he may try to strong-arm you into doing things under threat of marking the project incomplete.
