Our Team of the company had a very ambitious and visionary plan to have an ERP
solution for sugar factory management. We was chosen to metamorphose this vision
into reality. Their objective was to have a customized ERP solution that would have an
integrated software system comprising financial accounting & budgetary control, inventory
management, payroll accounting, cane weighing & crushing management system, cane
pricing management system, cane calendaring system and chemical laboratory reporting
modules.
The total working process in any sugar factory is very different then any other
industry as production activity is seasonal in nature and a large number of temporary
workforce also participate in production process. This has a bearing on their accounting
practices also. Our team did a detailed study of total production process of the sugar
factory. Their accounting practices and inventory management practices were also studied.
Scarlet came up with a plan to transform these typical processes into a comprehensive ERP
solution.

Our customized software solution for the ERP of sugar mill covers all the major
processes of sugar mill ranging from financial accounting and budgetary control to payroll
and p.f. accounting to inventory management to cane pricing and processing management
to chemical lab reporting. This customized ERP solution was developed in Visual Basic 6.0
with SQL Server as database on Windows Platform
