1998 - Initially employed as an in-house Mac Operator and later on to Scanning Operator / Colour Correction.(The job consisted of the build of catalogue pages in Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Illustrator. Scanning all transparencies(to be colour corrected to samples from the catalogue. The catalogues worked on were Studio and Ace catalogues.
Head hunted by agency, a creative roll was ahead of me for the following five years. Working with some huge clients such as The FA, Mitre, Manchester City Council, Liverpool Football Club, Bodycote™, Microban™ and Rio Ferdinand to name a few. During my time at this agency, I had possessed the ability to be promoted to Head of Creative Design, answering directly to the Director.(Duties included: liaising with clients, booking jobs in and solely completing creative to print ready artwork of exhibition design,(direct mail, advertising campaigns, corporate brochure and leaflets. Also worked alongside web development on multimedia( design and web site creative design – purely on an aesthetic level.
After being there for five years, I decided to resign and start my venture alone. Setting up Slightly Curved Cube was a milestone in my life, and – is still the best move I ever made. During this time (just a few months)I have worked with clients all over the UK and the globe. Doing all creative to print ready artwork(of exhibition design, direct mail, advertising campaigns, corporate brochure and leaflets. Also worked closely with various web(development experts on multimedia design and web site creative design.
Next - The role was one of a Lead Graphic Designer. During this time (just a few months) I have worked with clients all over the UK including Seat UK. Doing all creative to print ready artwork of exhibition design, direct mail, advertising campaigns, corporate brochure and leaflets. Also worked closely with various web development experts on multimedia design and web site creative design.
