Application Server : JBoss4.0.1,JBoss4.0.3SP1 Client : INCOMM (USA(Denver)) This is a webservice application that provides services to various Internet Providers in the US to sell their products in different supermarkets like Walmart,Compusa,etc.The different providers will login to this application so that when a customer reaches Walmart , he can give his address in the GUI available at the supermarket.This address will then be sent to the FastActivate which will search from the list of service providers available at the given address.This will be sent as the response to the user.The user can now select the services he requires and order the services online.The FastActivate project is a master application having sub-projects like FastXml, FastOrder, FastProvider, FastRebate,etc Projects Overview: #1.ETM (Express Transfer of Money) Development Environment : Java, Struts, Sybase. Web Server : Apache Application Server : JBoss1.4.2, Tomcat 5.0 Client : UAEXchange, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) ETM is a software designed and developed for money transaction. It enables the facility to a customer to send and receive money anywhere where there is a direct branch of UAEXchange. The system also facilitates money exchange and transfer of funds between branches. Each money transaction is given a unique code. The user gives the money in any branch and he gets the transaction code which he can forward to the recipient who collects the money form the corresponding branch by giving this transaction code. The system uses JBoss, Tomcat and Apache servers for Load Balancing. #2. DHIS 2.0(District Health Information Systems) Development Environment : Java, Spring, Hibernate, Webwork Database : MYSQL Web Server : Jetty Client : Govt. Hospitals of Kerala. The DHIS 2.0 is an online application for getting the health status and medical cases registered at various locations of a region and recording it on a central database. The data are entered at the PHC(Public Health Center) from the local regions or at the Hospitals at the district level and all the data gets updated to a central database on the state level.This data can then be combined with a GIS (Geographical Information System) for getting the visual information of a particular geographical region and conducting case studies about the health conditions of a particular region. #3.GIS(Geographical Information System) Development Environment : Java Swing,XML,Java Geotools. Database : MYSQL. Client : Govt. Hospitals of Kerala. Geographical Information System is a swing based application for dynamically displaying the health status of different geographical regions visually on maps of the particular regions. There are options like separately selecting the different medical cases and get the information of total affected in each region. There are also options for generating different types of reports .The data for the GIS is collected from different PHC(Public Health Center) and Hospitals using the online application DHIS-2.0. #4.ETM [Express Transfer of Money] Development Environment : Java, Servlets, JSP, Oracle 9i Web Server : Tomcat 3.3 Client : Live Project for Co-operative Banks in Kerala. ETM is web based application software designed and developed for money transaction. It enables the facility to a customer to send and receive money. The system also facilitates money exchange and transfer of funds between branches. ETM maintains “local” and “main” branch administration for user level application security. The key of each transaction is its “Secret Code and Transaction Code”. ETM encrypts these codes using 128 AES encryption standards to give maximum security for protect “Secret code and Transaction Code” from public access. The system generates a number of reports to analyze business profit and loss by tracking each transaction, is very flexible and is generated in PDF format. #5. Rapid Application Development Tool Development Environment : Java Swing, Jsp, Servlets, XML. Database : Oracle 9i, MYSQL, MSSQL. Web Server : Apache Tomcat 4.1 Client : Live Project for ER&DC formerly CDAC (Trivandrum) Central Govnt The Software is used for Generating JSP Pages, Servlets codes and Show MVC Architecture when a HTML file is given and finally deploy to server by moving the generated file to the Server Root, starting the server and running the Server Pages. This software provides the server side codes when the client side pages and the criteria’s like which database to use, the database quiries and the various fileld validation is given. #6. Web Based Steganography Server Development Environment : JSP, Java Servlets, Java Script and MySQL. Web Server : Apache Tomcat3.3 This is a mail server in which the concept of Steganography was implemented. Steganography refers to the field of hiding data inside pictures. Here a text file or any other document is encoded to a BMP file and send over net as a mail attachment.The reciepient can decode the image and extract the information. #7. Image Processing: Development Environment : Java Swing. (Used Pre-defined functions in Java) Image Processing refers to the manipulation of images. This includes mainly java swing concepts and involves converting of images to Gray Scale, Linear RGB formats, Compression and Decompression of images, Flipping, Stretching, Rotation, Sharpening, Blurring and Edge Detection. #8.Intranet using Internet Protocols: Development Environment : Java, Servlets, Html and MS-SQL Server. Web Server : JavaWebServer 2.0 The aim of this project was to set up a personal Internetwork using simple HTTP protocols. There were options for accessing internet through a gateway. The users could login and access the resources of the network like file upload, download, share files among users. There were also options for playing audio and viewing video. There is an administrator account that is given privileges to monitor the current users in the network. #9.Face Recognition: Development Environment : Java, Swing This is software developed for authorizing the identity of a person by extracting facial features and evaluating. The Photograph of the desired person is taken and compared with an already existing photograph to match for his identity. The comparison is done by finding specific points like the corners of the eye, the nose, the eye balls, mouth corners etc and finding the relative lengths between. The System has an accuracy of 94% and proved to be very efficient. #10.Mail Server: Development Environment : Java, JSP, Servlets, Html and MySql Web Server : Tomcat 3.3 The project implements an E-Mail server in which the users can send e-mail over the network. This was a complete mail server which included options for adding users, managing address books for each user and read the received mail. #11.FTP Client Development Environment : Java, JSP, FTP Web Server : Tomcat 4.1 The “Ftp Client” is a client software which can log on to any FTP Server and Upload or Download Files. This uses information from the server to get File Data and display to the user for accessing this data. Only the administrator is given privileges to upload any files. #12.Network Monitor Development Environment : Java, J2EE, RMI, Swing This is a tool for monitoring the operations and services across a LAN. There are options for remote shutdown, traffic monitoring, file transfer, chat, configuration of the Systems across the network, the services running on the Systems and other Options for getting current information about the systems in the network.
