Hardware

Two quad core servers is utilized for ViciDial for automated dialing, one dialer is capable up to 60 channels. A dual core server is utilized as a file server Ftp/Mysql/Apache. Lastly, another quad core server is dedicated for database use only.

Application

ViciDial is a set of programs that are designed to interact with the Asterisk Open-Source PBX Phone system to act as a complete inbound/outbound call centre suite.

The Asterisk software includes many features available in proprietary PBX systems: voice mail, conference calling, interactive voice response (phone menus), and automatic call distribution. Users can create new functionality by writing dial plan scripts in Asterisk's own language, by adding custom modules written in C, or by writing Asterisk Gateway Interface (AGI) scripts in Perl or other languages.

ViciDial can function as an ACD for inbound calls or for closer calls coming from ViciDial outbound calls and even allows for remote agents logging in from remote locations as well as remote agents that may only have a phone. Furthermore, ViciDial can be used as a Message blaster or Phone blaster that places calls and connects them into another potentially legacy dialer system.

ViciDial can work in a split setup where the dialer can be installed anywhere, even in a different country, which allows for off-shore call centers or follow-the-sun service setups, where agents from all around the world can be registered with the same system. This is possible since ViciDial allows for seamless integration of traditional TDM and VOIP.

ViciDial can be integrated with a large number of Legacy CRM Systems.  There are currently over 700 installations of ViciDial in production in over 70 countries around the world.

vTiger CRM

vTiger CRM assists RSI by pre-qualifying leads and organizing them based on the set criteria and the potential to close the sale. The vTiger CRM also gives crucial insight on what is the pipeline in the upcoming months and it allows our managers to make necessary call backs and follow-ups.

Mysql/Apache is characterized as free software and open source software. Since April 1996, Apache has been the most popular HTTP server on the World Wide Web.

File server/Ftp/Recordings

Our experience has proven that a Linux Operating System performs better as a file server than Windows NT or Windows 2000. Since Linux is designed to be a robust operating system (OS), hardware resources centre on processing user requests instead of running the Operating System.
