I have extensive experience editing letters, manuals, and books from my previous job. I was in this job for 18 years. I worked for at least 30 people at various times and was required to edit anything from in house memos to technical manuals and brochures. I edited these documents for spelling, grammar, content, and the way the writing flowed in the document. I say I was required to edit but actually this was my favorite part of my job—just give me something to edit and I’m happy. The editing, in some cases, also required rewriting parts of the documents. I wrote memos, letters, and personal year end reviews. I also worked on the budgets, preparing them to present to the Governing Board and the public.
