I am a career web developer with over 10 years experience developing complex web-based applications and e-commerce web sites. I am a critical thinker, highly motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and work well alone or within a team. I take pride in my work and understand that when the client is happy, everybody is happy.
Recently the large telecom I was working for laid off their entire web team. They were billing me out at $150/hour at the time. Given the global nature of this marketplace I quote at one third of that rate (less than I quote 'local' clients). You will certainly find cheaper web contractors, but you will get what you pay for.
