After graduating from The University of Leeds with a Masters in Architectural Engineering I moved into the associated field of furniture design; working for a Leicester based company for several years before moving on to an interior design position in Chesterfield. Since then I have held a position as a retail interior designer near Sheffield working for clients such as Vodafone, The V&A Museum, MoneyShop, HobbyCraft and Mansfield District Council to name a few.

In order to concentrate my 3D Visualisation skills I set up my own Freelance company in 2006 and have been producing Architectural interiors, exteriors and fly-throughs ever since. My freelance clients include; Harrods, Vodafone, Office Angles, Interflora, Bristol City Council, Cherwell District Council, amongst others. I have also branched out into product design and have produced visuals and 'exploded' assembly videos of a brand new speaker design for Martin Audio as well as creating several photo-real jewellery images for Stoned jewellers in Nottingham.

My main modelling software is a combination of Softimage XSI and 3D Studio MAX, working with the strengths of each application and using the best tool for the job. I have a long history with AutoCAD and have been using it's 3D facilities for many years although now I mainly use it to work with layout drawings sent in by clients. I render my final images with mental ray, Maxwell~Render and fryrender using which ever produces the best look and style to fulfil the client's brief. I also have a great deal of experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, which help me to create texture maps and graphics and also are key in the post production process. For video work I use Softimage's integrated compositor which is based on Avid's Media Illusion, an industry standard.
