Description :

Web-Based Gantt chart is designed regarding java Technologies. It shows the status of tasks or activities which are used at the time of Project Development. It is a very powerful tool through which we can reveal project status.

Contribution:

1) Designing of the database, establish the relationship, keys and indexes
between the different tables.

2) Developed the Login module, Registration module using Struts.

3) Web-Based Gantt chart is designed for revealing the status of tasks or
activities which are used at the time of Project Development. It is
developed using Struts. We can create new project with tasks which are
given by authorized User. We can modify and delete the tasks used in Project

Title :CoalNet Project(at BHARAT COKING COAL LTD. HQ, Dhanbad )-UNDER KGP IIT
Project Description : COALNET is an ERP solution for Coal India Ltd. Coal India is a public sector consisting of seven subsidiaries (e.g. ECL, BCCL, NCL, MCL etc.). It operates 486 collieries and produces and sells over 280 million tones of twenty different grades of coal and consists over half a million employees. We are developing a Web Based Application system, which integrates the different functional areas of Coal India Ltd. and its subsidiaries. This application system is divided into different modules such as Personnel, Payroll, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Production, Project, Material and Equipment. I am in Sales and Marketing modules and was instrumental in implementation of
COALNET application at BCCL (HQ), Dhanbad.

MODULE: I am in Sales and Marketing modules. The Sales & Marketing module deals with the process of coal sale. It classified in two types.1>Rail Sale2>Road Sale.I am in Road sale module.A Road Sale Offers for a particular month and year. An Offer is given from a colliery group to a customer classification group for the sale of a particular type of coal product. Each offer may contain any number of such sale offers. The quantity offered by each colliery and the maximum quantity that a customer can apply for against that offer (mentioned in terms of a percentage) is also specified. The maximum quantity that a customer can apply for in a particular colliery is either the Maximum booking quantity (specified in the offer) or the percentage (specified in the offer) of his MPQ, whichever is lower.
