Network Management
• Installed, migrated and administered IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus 3.6, 7.1 object server, Impact 4.02, Webtop 1.3, ISM (ICMP, SNMP, SMTP), Probe (MTTrapd) and Gateways (Uni-Bidirectional , ODBC, Flat file)
• Compiled new customized MTTRAPD rules files based on SNMP MIB files, Alarm specific deduplication, problem/resolution relation and business requirements.
• Design and implement High Complexity, high resiliency and high availability multi-tier IBM Tivoli Netcool Infrastructure using Netcool Objectserver, Netcool Webtop and Netcool Impact. Also these management systems were at the collection layer (NetIQ, Priisms, IRIS, Prognosis, Spectrum, TSOM)
• Integrate Netcool with two different ticketing systems Remedy ARS and TRS using Impact Web Services capabilities.
• Design and code Netcool Impact high complexity policies to implement different business requirements such as event enrichment, exceptions, ticket generation and X in Y automations.
• Develop and customize Netcool Webtop pages, tools and filters for different group of users.
• Engineered fail-over architecture for the systems to ensure high availability and heart beat mechanism for early detection of failures.
• Installed and work with OpenNMS and Nagios systems as backup systems.

Systems Integration
• Developed AAA authentication solution using LDAP and Cisco Secure Access server integration. This solution served authentication for dialing out using Cisco Access server AS5300 and VPN authentication using Cisco ASA5520 PIX.
• Developed dial out solution using AS5300 and Dial out EZ software.
• OS and software installation and building for several Solaris and Windows servers for new Data centers.
• Created Automations tools using Perl for automatic provisioning, report generation and heart beat mechanisms.
• Performed integration of multi-vendor products like NetcoolTM, NetIQTM, PRIISMTM , CiscoWorks LMS, MS SQL and MySQL and engineered custom solutions for product integration
