I am a Microsoft Access Database and Excel Spreadsheet programming professional with over ten years of experience with developing business and technical solutions for project requirements. I am keenly aware of the strengths and weaknesses of both applications and can assess when the relational power of Access is required compared to the non-relational database structure of Excel which is better suited for more complex mathematical computational needs. I have an in depth knowledge of all Access building components including: Tables, Queries, Forms, Reports, Macros, and VBA modules. I carefully integrate these building blocks through programming to provide customers with automated and user friendly applications. With respect to Excel, I have a mathematical background and I am very knowledgeable with functions and data presentation (charts), as well as automating repetitive tasks with Visual Basic programming.
