My name is Carla Cannon and I set up a company called Wyn Research.
Wyn provides affordable market research and ad-hoc research support to Business Start-Ups and SME's on a What You Need, When You Need basis.

Wyn benefits business start-ups and SME's by acting as an extension of their company, without them having to employ a full time memebr of staff. We do this through getting to know each of our clients, undertsanding their goals and providing the information neceessary to maximise business potential.

With Wyn, businesses can obtain one-off Market Research such as Market Reports, Questionnaires, Field Work, Focus Groups, Sponsorship Research, Mystery Shoppers and so on. However we also provide anything from 4-30 hours per month of research support to businesses looking for help, as and when required. This inlcudes everything from sourcing more cost efective suppliers, increasing web presence, raising profile through marketing and pr, keeping a close eye on competitors and researching effectiveness in meeting customers expectations.


After graduating with a Bsc (Hons) in Accountancy and Manufacturing Engineering from Strathclyde University, I began my career in IT Sales progressing to Market Research and PR.

I have also gained additional qualifications including Six Sigma Yellow Belt from UBS Investment Bank, The Structure of Selling (S3 London), The Leadership for Life Award (Loch Eil), Business Training for Undergraduates from Arthur Andersen (pre Enron!) and have attended the Lacunza Spanish Language School in San Sebastian.

Having always wanted to run my own business, Wyn Research makes best use of my skills and aenables me to work across various projects and sectors helping people realise their business potential.

I love to travel and some of my favourite places are New York, Las Vegas, Mexico and Andorra.
