Infinite Computing Systems (ICS) has been an active and successful player in the technology industry since 1997. In fact, Infinite was recently honored as a 2007 IT Service Provider of the Year finalist by the Technology Association of Iowa. The company specializes in full project and development lifecycle management of technology solutions that fit your business. A US registered Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE), ICS has over 200 employees worldwide. ICS is led by an experienced executive management team with a combined 95 years experience leading technology firms. With headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and international technology centers in Mumbai, India, Singapore and Bangkok, Thailand, ICS has the cost effective and experienced resource availability and flexibility to interact locally and deploy resources globally. Since its founding, ICS has been able to deliver the technical and project expertise required to implement new and enhanced software solutions. Past examples include projects where ICS had full project management and lifecycle development ownership. ICS project scopes have ranged from several months to four years.

ICS just completed a 7 month project with a state agency. This effort consisted of a software enhancement for the agency’s mainline application serving 99 counties, hundreds of users involving nearly 800 Million rows of data and 50,000 lines of code. This project was a .NET 2.0, C#, SQL 2005 project and was budgeted at $250,000. ICS delivered this project 16% below budget.

A separate project was a migration of the state’s unemployment system from legacy mainframe systems to the JAVA environment. An ICS team of 6 were responsible for full project and development life cycle management. The ICS team rewrote the state’s legacy unemployment system to a client server environment using Java & J2EE. The system was successfully deployed on time and is now in use across the state at the various unemployment office locations.
