I have degrees in History(1989) and Law(1994). I commenced practice of law with Gani Fawehinmi Chambers, a leading law firm in Nigeria, in 1997 where I was fully involved in active litigation and general legal practice. I also became a member of the Editorial Board of the famous Nigerian Weekly Law Reports(N.W.L.R.), a publication of Nigerian Law Publications Limited, as proofreader. I rose through the ranks to become the Assistant Editor/Assistant Editorial Secretary.
In June, 2000, I left Gani Fawehinmi Chambers to join Lawbreed Limited and became a member of the Editorial Board of Judgments of the Supreme Court of Nigeria(S.C.Reports) as Associate Editor. At Lawbreed Limited, I supervised the publication of all the judgments of the Supreme Court of Nigeria delivered in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 complete with yearly indexes; and the reprint of the 1972-1982 judgments with index.
Presently, I am the Editor of Consolidated Monthly Law Reports. This I combine with my private legal practice.
