I’m a freelance copywriter and graphic designer with twelve years’ experience in the business.

A client always knows his or her company better than I do. Quality copy or graphic design is always a product of client and writer or designer working closely together to tease out the very best solution.

Copywriting
Some of my previous jobs have included writing the company profile for Corporate Express, writing scripts for telesales staff at IB Broadband, writing a monthly column which ran for three years in CMPlus magazine, editing articles for CMPlus magazine, writing advertising copy for bands and musicians, and writing taglines and working on campaign concept development, including Yellow is the new Yellow, for Boddingtons Bitter.

I write copy for the US, British, and international markets.

I have done both the graphic design and copywriting on many jobs. My portfolio is graphic design focused, and jobs I have done for most of the companies mentioned above can be viewed in my portfolio.

Graphic Design
I specialize in logo design, typography, and layout. Much of the work in my portfolio was developed in partnership with Melanie McInerney. Depending on the specifications of a particular job, I work with a number of other people also. I work with a computer programmer from Bank of Scotland on coding work, a guy from Apple Mac for 3D modeling, and I work with a number of illustrators on jobs which require illustration styles different to my own.
