Fair QA understanding in order to contribute ideas to improve the working process. Fair programming techniques knowledge to join SQA activities (e.g. verify that the coding complies with the standards...). Good knowledge on working process. Develops test plan (including estimation skills to give proper schedule for test plan) and deliveries (documents, artifacts, reports, bug logs…). Typically reports to a Project Manager and helps Project Manager in test/integration/deployment related problems. Strong client working environment understanding (e.g. browser, operating system, network…) to be able to simulate the back end testing environment Strong infrastructure understanding (e.g. web server, web services…) to deploy/integrate the application. Make sure the software complies with different check list. System Architect and DB. Good understanding of UML and design tools used to read and generate UML (e.g. Rational Rose, EA, Visual Paradigm…) in order to know/learn the technical aspects of the project (design). Strong database structure understanding and SQL skills to verify results on back end.
