Hello potential employers,

I'm Jenny McIntyre from Michigan U.S.A. I started doing web design in 1999, and it quickly grew into a passion of mine. I'm an absolute perfectionist in all that I do, whether it be creative work or general labor... I've worked a good many not-fun jobs, including four years in hotel housekeeping. As a housekeeper, I cleaned every room as if I or a family member were going to stay in it; and as a web developer, I treat every job as if I were the client. I don't cut corners, and I go above and beyond the call of duty at every opportunity. Whoever had first designed his site had done extremely sloppy, amateurish work -- not just with the look and functionality, but with the coding. They had hard-coded all the css styling, as well as the headers and footers (so instead of updating one file to change something, you had to edit every page); they had even used font tags (sign of a very un-learned designer). Instead of leaving Mr. Prochoren's code all a-mess and only dealing with appearance and function, I took the time to clean it all up, and didn't charge him for my time in doing so; I didn't even tell him I had done it.

My rates are always more than fair -- they're a bargain. They say you get what you pay for, and it's usually true (and all too often you get even less than that), but I believe in giving the customer more than they would get elsewhere for their money.

My aim is not just to satisfy, but to exceed my clients' expectations. I treat every project I undertake as if it were my own -- and that means with utmost attention to detail and the highest quality standards. My perfectionist nature doesn't allow me to cut corners or give anything less than 100%.

I design in standards-compliant XHTML (or basic HTML if desired) and CSS, am proficient in Photoshop, and have a lot of experience in installing and customizing php scripts.

I also specialize in administrative support work (proofreading, editing, data entry, etc.), as I have a keen eye for details, and superb organizational skills.
