Hi Designated Person
Experiences are learnt on the basis of aims and goals. With a degree in Computer Sciences (CS), my scope is extended to all the current developments in this field. Technology changes with the blink of an eye. Thus I try to keep myself updated with the latest events and happening.
I have been working in ASP.NET using C# and the experience has enhanced my programming skills to a commendable extent. Other fields with programming expertise include C#, Web Services, VC++6.0, C using Embed and C++, Directx, OpenGL and WIN32 Application and using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques, Apart from the working in aforementioned applications, my job required me to work on Web Configuration Authentication and Authorization. Working in ASP.NET, ASP, and JavaScript has enriched my skills.
Apropos of Database management, I have spent considerable time working on SQL Server 2000, 2005 (using SQL Server jobs and alerts etc.).
As I have a career-oriented persona I always searched the ways to stand out in my sphere. Being the part of Information Age can have two opposite effects; either you become stagnant and static in the pursuance of your career or you become dynamic and want to make the best of opportunities. The part of latter effect.
I am lucky to have worked with different companies. Working as a team, we had to work long hours, sometimes on tight deadlines and even on weekends. As they say that in business today's sales should be better than yesterday's - and worse than tomorrow's, we managed the time in accordance with our projects schedules. In fact we tried our level best to get the work done before the deadlines. This way we enhanced our time and project management skills. Working in demanding jobs has given me a lesson that either you can complain about the pressure of the work or accept it whole heartedly with a positive frame of mind. You can achieve success only if you are affirmative about work and believe in giving your best efforts. I have always worked in a constructive manner and have always been optimistic.
From my experience I have realized that there are times when you should be more tolerant towards the different perceptions that people have about an idea as it is the foremost aspect of freedom of expression. On the other hand, I learnt to put my thoughts in more assertive manner but with an open mind. Team work helped me to learn this valuable lesson of my life. Learning from past mistakes and concentrating on future planning is what I practice now. Working in a group has taught me to respect others. Leadership roles demand to set examples. Once you have set an example, others will follow you.
I have always been a part of a team. Team is all about people you working with. If you do not have faith in your managerial skills and potentials of the team members, you cannot claim to be a good team player and a leader. I had confidence in my team and at the end of the day they always gave me good results. This faith has always strengthened our team and played an important role in the success of any task.
Regards, Muhammad Imran Ilyas
