I am a senior Software developer working for the past 4 years in J2ee domain. Current project : Project Description: 1)Subscriber Manager (SM):SM is a part of Veraz Control Switch Network. The Subscriber Data Access Point (functionally equivalent to the HSS in the 3GPP IMS) processes real-time subscriber related data queries and real-time device registration queries from the Service Execution Element. The Subscriber Manager (SM) provides the business logic for managing the SDAP subscription data, combining information related to subscribers, their services and devices. The web-based interface provides access to a built-in operator CRM and a subscriber self-care portal to speed initial deployments. In addition, a variety of programmatic interfaces are available to integrate with the operator's existing systems. 2)Device Manager acts as configuration server from where various devices provisioned in SM would automatically download their configuration files. The server would be generic enough to handle most of the VoIP devices (SIP, MGCP, IADs or IP Phones) configuration needs and would provide pluggable interfaces for adding support for new devices. Our Tasks is/was to provide • Maintain configuration information about a particular device which includes the number of different configurable parameters, their descriptions, their logical grouping, the default values applicable if any, their validation information. • Maintain details about the possible number of configuration files for a particular device type and their respective formats. • Present the UI rendering details of the configurable parameters to the DM web client so that the inputs forms can be rendered. • Generate and possibly encrypt the configuration file for a particular device type based on the inputs provided either by the user. • Report Generation of all activities done by the DM Admin/user using the DM web client. A DM web client (user interface) built using Struts is provided for any DM users/Administrators. These configurable information and files (of devices) is very vendor specific and differ a lot. Hence the DM is a complex module with a design stressing on a flexible and easy way of defining new device types.DM so far supports devices of vendors like Telco Systems, SJPhone and Zyxel.
