Information Technologies Education CJSC (ITE) is a software product company founded in 1998 with its own Web studio and now 14 dedicated and creative employees engaged in ITE’s business of designing and developing multimedia products (CD/DVD-ROMS) and knowledge management applications based on portal technologies implemented by ITE.
ITE has created a number of award-winning products, including:
Aram Khachaturian: The Life and Works, which the World Summit Awards 2005 Grand Jury named the world’s best multimedia DVD/CD-ROM of the year in e-culture category; and
Armenian Genocide; 1915-1923, received a Special Mention Prize at the World Summit Awards 2005, and was the CD-ROM listed among the world's Top 10 in e-learning during the year.
ITE’s multimedia two submissions won a very tough competition at the World Summit Awards (www.wsis-award.org). More than 20,000 products from 168 countries took part in the contest. In the “e-culture category”, ITE’s direct competitors were IBM, French Ministry of Culture and Communication, and Smithsonian Institution, all of which came in immediately behind ITE.
