My name is Rick Decker and I am currently a 34 year old father of two, husband of 1 (thankfully), and a full time police officer. I am a full time Robbery/Homicide detective here in the who spends his off time being a dad and thriving on many forms of creative writing, be it everything from poetry, short stories, or legal journals. I have been published as a content writer for /legalzoom.com/, the legal website founded by Attorney Robert Shapiro, (thus proving cops and defense attorneys can coexist), while publishing my first children's book in 2006, published by Amazon. I also have two more children's books that are scheduled to be published once the illustrations are complete and I have countless pieces of creative writing that I would happily submit to you for your review. I have served as the 'creative writer' for friends and family for everything from /Ebay/ auctions, wedding invitations, wedding programs, websites, school calendars, girl scout programs, greeting cards, and even funeral announcements... You name it and I can write about it, on it, or in it, and I would relish the chance to do it for your company. The reality is I enjoy writing creatively because it's so different than my day job and any compensation I earn goes towards my kids, be it their college fund or Chuck E .Cheese, so I can most definitely promise to be far less expensive than anyone else.
