2. Plotter:

Plotter is Perl tool useful for Civil Engineers. This reduces major work
of Civil Engineers, so that they can save their precious time.
This tool calculates area and volume of a road. With total volume and
total area this perl tool gives area and volume calculations of filling
and cutting at each chainage. This tool gives Cross-sectional graphs at
each chainage and L-section graph of that road. With these graphs this
tool provides a detailed spread sheet which contains chainage,
benchmark,staff readings, reduced levels, area and volume at each
chainage.

This tool has a GUI interface. Perl-TK is used for this nice GUI
interface. GUI interface make this tool easy to use. Remaining work for
you is only to enter the file.

You can also give excavation depth along with these readings.
