We are a Pacific Northwest based software company that works in the area of internet security. As a very experience buyer, and we believe in treating the providers with the respect they deserve (some don't deserve as much respect as other :-| ) But at the end of the day you cannot expect the provider to read your mind, so you have to know what you want and recognize good work when you see it. We have several very senior developers, but constantly need extra manpower for very specific sub-tasks. All our projects are small and manageable, and you should easily be able to deliver within 2 weeks if you work full time. Initial Projects will usually be less than $500 We understand that many service providers are small independent people who try to make a little extra by working evening or night, and we would like to encourage these hardworking individuals to make a bid. We like the personal relationships that can arise from close cooperation over long periods of time. We do not like service providers that are aggressive bidders and then ask for more money right after launch of project. We have no respect for service providers that ask questions that have already been detailed in the Project Offer Specification, read the specs CAREFULLY. You will see that each line of project specification often contains multiple pieces of crucial information. We will make sufficient information about the project available up front, enough to give you a fair chance to successfully make an estimation. If we later increase the project specifications rest assured that we are willing to increase your pay as well. The key to Success with us is communication, we DON'T expect you to understand all our ideas right away, but we DO expect you to ask before you start working in the wrong direction. Wasted time because you neglected to inquire additional information is NOT rewarded. We do not expect any of our projects to be shoot and forget, and we are willing to help you a lot to understand the concept, and the problems that we want you to solve. We appreciate a quick response from you, and will try to give you the same, you CANNOT let an email go unanswered for several days, unless you already have established an excellent track record with us. We invest a lot of time and effort into our Service providers, including educating them in our product and methods, and thus do not like to change service provider, if you do a good job then you can expect to receive more work from us in the same area. You will see that when the project is finished and works, that we do pay promptly and without any fuss. We do not pick on stupid little details to keep the projects open, and in General do not like people who do that. QA : We expect you to test your code thoroughly before providing it to us, we will do our own testing before going to production, but we will not again and again accept the same error in the code, or programs that crash in its basic functions. Prototypes: we do like advanced prototypes that show the direction of the development even if they crash or only partially work. We do not report errors on your prototypes, but comment on overall looks and feel. Best Regards OregonBuyer
