WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Worked as a Instructor for 3 months – at an IT institute, Sri Lanka

2. Worked as the Academic Manager cum Lecturer at IBTS (Pvt.) Ltd., Negombo, Sri Lanka

3. Worked as a Online Research assistant for Type International.com.(USA) Was engaged in researching on several topics.

4. Worked as a Online Research Assistant for Health Medical Tourism Organization. (Contract basis) (www.healthmedicaltourism.org) (Since Nov 2006). Was involved in carrying out researches(web research) to find out facts related to medicine and medical tourism.

5. Worked for a New Zealand company as a Data Processor.(Contract/Part Time). This involved identifying bib numbers of marathon runners and label the images with those numbers. I was a high speed worker on that.

6. Worked on a project for Liquidcotton.com in web site population(Image editing and adding details and FTP/Uploading. The whole site was done by myself).

7. Worked for Ekaweeka.com as a VA in data gathering(collecting details of Artists, dancers, musicians etc. all over USA) , data entry and email marketing and email response handling/customer care..(Was able to generate a huge traffic within few months of work).

8. Worked for a company in USA collecting Career Center staff information for colleges and Universities all over USA.(Web Research)-Covered 115 hours on that. I was selected for the best 3 workers and was allowed to work until end of the project. The project was to get details such as name, address, tele number, email, designation etc. of the career centers of large number of colleges/universities.

9. Worked as a research officer for a company in USA collecting details of college students from face book and entering them in excel. Have covered about 113 hrs.

10. Was engaged in a project collecting contact details of news group staff and have done more than 150 hours for them.

11. Have created the top banner of Virtual Merchants Blogspot.

12. Had done so many internet researches including researching Adobe Products and details, details regarding all the campgrounds in USA etc for a client in USA.

13. Worked for 2 projects in Image Editing in Photoshop for a Jewelry and furniture catalogs for a USA client.

14. Was engaged in a project to find parking key words and was very successful in that and I was given bonus payment for my excellent work.

15. Worked as a VA for a Real Estate Appraiser in USA(part time-few hours per week and only when required). Involved in online researches and creating reports, All admin work, data entry, data processing, Web Site Maintenance, Printing and bulk posting about properties for sale, email marketing, creating auction bid reports, designing post cards/flyers, creating route maps with map quest/yahoo and google maps, ad posting, article submission etc.

16. Worked as a Project coordinator for a American NGO for their projects in Sri Lanka.

18. Have worked on a project collecting importers and Exporters from USA and have done a email marketing campaign.
