Worked a year in local government as an I.T Coordinator managing four external sites and one internet working with optical fibre, VPN and wireless connections. This work included working with Windows Servers 2000-2003, 80+ XPProSP3 Workstations, Redhat Linux gateway, Shorewall Firewall and miscellaneous other pieces of hardware and software.
Did some freelancing work for the largest mining company in Western Australia developing software for the programmable logic controllers (PLC's) that automate the minining machinery.
