I am a multilingual professional and native speaker of American English with exceptional writing and editing skills. I hold an MBA in nonprofit management and marketing. I also have a Certificate in Grants Management (recipient track for U.S. federal awards) and I am a certified Microsoft Office Specialist.

Most of my work experience has been in communications, marketing, fundraising, and proposal development for U.S. nonprofit organizations and international NGOs. I have been freelancing full-time since May of 2006. My writing has been published in various magazines, journals, websites, and marketing materials. I will provide samples of my work upon request.

My specialties include:
* Proofreading and editing technical documents and other text, especially when written by non-native speakers of English
* Developing website content
* Creating marketing materials, press releases, and sales copy
* Writing and editing proposals, including grant proposals
* Translating from Spanish into English

I believe that writing should be crisp, exact, and concise. I pride myself on working quickly and accurately, and always meeting deadlines. In addition, I personally complete each project that I accept. Unlike some other providers, I never ask other freelancers to complete the projects that I have accepted.
