These applications are primarily used for granting new credit card request, canceling services on specific financial account, tracking e-Statements and granting loan requests. The application is being developed by using JSP/Servlets and uses Validator framework to generate respective business logic specific to Client. The application takes help of a specific framework called XFactor which is being used by most of the GE Money-UK web application which interns takes care of backend activities(interaction with oracle db, Experian & VISION + mainframe) and is deployed on a clustered instances of IBM Websphere v6.0. Project Handled: Project : “Productivity & Performance - Module” (Also known as TRAC under KnoahsARK v1.5.2) Organization : Knoah Soft, Hyderabad, AP. Environment : JDK1.5.0_01, JBOSS 4.0.4-GA, Tomahawk Spring 2.0, Hibernate 3.0, Liferay 4.2.1 Apache Struts 1.2, NETBEANS 5.5 MS SQL SERVER 2000, Windows 2003 Server Team size : Twenty Five Members Role : Performed System analysis using OOA/OOD, Developed few Composite Views, specific Business Service Wrappers DAO specific Implementations Description: The module is a part of a web portal called KnoahsARK (a product similar what companies like NICE & Vernitt offers dedicated to a typical contact center business), which is being used by our associates & clients for their operational and managerial purposes. The basic purpose of the module is to increase focus on Productivity & Performance of any Company / Line of Business / Team / Individual based upon defined Key performance Indicators. It provides insight information about the performance trends, coaching efficiency & etc.Includes priority alerts & scheduling the intended reports. It provides several modules to coach an Employee / Team / LOB (based on their hierarchy) under certain Business defined metrics for achieving better performance rates. It is designed under the basics of ISO guidelines framed for Quality enhancements for a typical contact center business. The existing module was built using Apache Struts 1.2 includes few Business Service Wrappers & DAO POJOS and making use of MS reporting services for reporting. The business is presently upgrading its code base by making use of light weighted Web 2.0 & Business components where we are using Liferay 4.2.1 Portal, Tomahawk (to support enhanced UI supporting cutting edge technologies), Spring 2.0 (an IoC container where we define our business logic), Hibernate 3.0 (DAO / ORM layer) & Jasper Intelligence (BI Suite). • Handled other few minor projects with regards Logistics & Local Service support management & Supplier Chain management for GE Captial & Healthcare. Other Activities • An active member of Sun Development Network. (SDN) and earned over 550 duke stars at Sun Java forums. • Attended and coordinated many Technical conferences that include SUN Tech Days Feb’07, Software Freedom Day Feb‘05 an event conducted by Linux Society of Hyderabad where we had Sir Richard Stallman addressing the developers and many others conducted on open source software awareness. • A member of Linux Society of Hyderabad • Presently working with a open source group on an open source project called MathAPI which focuses on evaluating complex mathematical areas like calculus, Laplace & Z Transforms, complex functions, matrices, expanding Math Libraries functions using util classes like BigDecimal & BigInteger in java.
