Career Objective:

To work in an environment that requires me to acquire and sharpen capabilities required to perform tasks that fulfill the needs of the organization and aid my overall career development.


Work at Dell:

The work profile required me to make successful sales through customers who called in Dell regarding a specific model of a computer. Here the scope of sales was entirely dependent on the number of inbound calls received. My job entailed me to try and make an immediate sell through that point of an enquiry and also pitch in for products that are in Dell’s product catalogue (Televisions, MP3 players, Cameras and printers), which most customers aren’t aware of.

This department apart from being highly competitive and number centric is extremely customer oriented with respect to the mannerisms of dialogue between us and the customers. These standards of deliverance provided me with an inspiring challenge and helped me top the charts for six months. I managed the highest conversion ratio of sales to calls, in addition to selling most of the other products apart from ones the customer asks in for, i.e. computers. Apart from the successful sales that I churned by far, my commitment and enthusiasm in the work got me to be represented as a Senior Sales Executive in less than a year.

Work prior to Dell:

As a summer job, have worked for ‘The Lead’, an event management company, and handled clients like Dr. Reddy Labs and V Splash, each of whose projects lasted for over a period of a month.

Why want to work :

Having worked a year for DELL Computers as a Sales Executive made me confident and sure about the industry I’d like to grow in. Thus, coupled with a desire to enhance my skills farther and seek newer challenges makes me want to set foot in the stream of industry you’ll delve in.
