JSDeBord, Inc., formerly James DeBord ~ Graphic Design, was established in 1995 in San Jose, California also known as the "Silicon Valley" technology hub of the nation. This brainchild of Jim DeBord focused initially on graphic design, logo design, and promotion for several small-to-medium sized companies in the San Jose area. Over the course of the next four years, he consulted almost exclusively, for an international semiconductor corporation, as well as for a flash memory development company. While in that consulting role, he managed two marketing and communication departments, developing their corporate image to include web design and development, technical publications, trade show/sales conference displays, promotion and corporate collateral, press releases, and annual reports. In 2002, he incorporated the business along with his wife and business partner, Susan DeBord. In 2003, they changed the name from James DeBord ~ Graphic Design to JSDeBord, Inc. Now the company's focus is not only graphic design but includes complete marketing and branding solutions via print, Internet, multimedia and event planning. JSDeBord, Inc. still has strong ties to its California clients, maintaining the ultimate goal of supporting other area businesses, both locally and nationally, through consultation, research and image development. Their combination of cutting-edge technology, along with a solid Midwestern business ethic, enables them to be a strong team to back any business, large or small, to improve marketability.
