o Out of favor business through 52-week low, high dividend yield, under valuations, plungers, etc.
2. Generating the above investment ideas through screening based on quantitative and qualitative criteria. Role also involves developing various screens for identifying prospective investment candidates.
3. Determine the valuation of the prospect, which involves building valuation model to ascertain the value of companies based on absolute and relative valuations technique. Financial modeling also involves forecasting the earnings for the subject company.
4. Carrying out research on the prospective companies, involving thorough research on the company’s management, its competitor and industry.
5. Make an investment recommendation to the fund manager.
6. Update the model and constantly follow the company in which the fund has invested.
