Description

You will complete or rewrite a partially completed J2ME GPS app we have which will replace our current J2ME GPS app which we've been using for about 3 years. You'll also develop server side code up on our Linux server to communicate with the J2ME app. You may create the server side code in any language you like that runs on Linux.

We have many more details about this project listed on our wiki but we do not want to make those details publicly available.

First we would like to review some sample J2ME code you have created in the past. You may send us just a bit of your sample J2ME code if you are worried about us stealing it. Therefore, please attach some sample J2ME code to a GetAFreelancer Private Message.

If we decide to work with you, then we will pay you for a few hours in advance to work on the project. In other words, if you pass the test project you will take no risk whatsoever because we will pay you in advance.

We are willing to pay you an hourly rate of $6 to $12 per hour. We estimate this project will take you about 100 to 150 hours to complete.

Hi I have done a lot of work with J2ME/CLDC, not only this also worked for a car tracking company hence very well know about latlang. I am confident that i can work with u on this project and give u a complete working solution including client and server. At this moment i am not attaching any source codes i worked on because i dont think its a good way to judge, ones capability. Please speak to me on PMB. Best Regards Umer
