Description

I want to set up my server (a FreeBSD dedicated server hosted at Pair.com) to automatically create daily backups of three websites including the web directory and the associated databases. I want the script to run daily, compress the resulting backup files, and automatically upload them to Amazon S3. The backups should roll over every week, so I should only have 7 snapshots on S3 at a time.

I am not very good at unix command line/scripting. So what I need is for someone to help me define the backup strategy, select/write the scripts, and install them on my server.

You will need a skype, aim, or Yahoo! Messenger account so we can work through it in real time. Just to be clear, I will not provide you access to my server, but you will walk me through the steps and help me configure/debug until it works.
