Description

We are looking for someone to build a Tripadvisor.com clone. It should be an exact as possible clone only without hotel/trip booking. Booking will perhaps be added later but not initially.

Some specifications:
- users can register and fill out their profile that includes some general personal information (gender, age, interests,...) , avatar and all the content that user submitted (reviews, photos, videos)

- registered users can post a new review of the place (city, event, attraction, restaurant, hotel) where they have been. All the reviews are also displayed in users profile

- main navigation should be Continent > Country > City, every City includes also a short review/introduction. Every city can have multiple:
* events (e.g. New York > New years party)
* attractions (e.g. Paris > Eiffel tower)
* restaurants
* hotels
Initial database will include a list of all continents and countries and users can add new cities. After a city has been added they can also post events, attractions, restaurants and hotels.

- if a review of single city/event/attraction/restaurant/hotel (items) is not in the database, user can post one. He can add new review and attach photos and/or videos. He can also rate with 1-5 stars a different parameter of every item (e.g. food quality, service and others for restaurants; location, price and others for hotels etc.). After initial review has been posted the other users can comment on it (add their own review/rating) as well as post additional photos and videos

- script should include a full administration that allows us to delete and edit all reviews/cities/hotels/photos/videos.... all the content

And some technical specs:

- script should be modern and should be very user friendly using different modern technologies such as: SEO friendly URLs, ajax comments and ratings without page refresh, hotel/restaurant location on Google Maps etc.

- script should include external language files and templates (xhtml+css .. e.g. Smarty)

- script should be written in PHP or Perl using MySQL or Postgres as database

- script should include a caching engine for big traffic as well as a possibility for scalability
