Description

I have an online photo gallery at www.1PhotoStreet.com I have been thinking of ways to promote it. I am installing an ASP script on it to allow people to send any of the photos on it as eCard.
I have also been thinking of coming up with a game that would be fun for people to come back to, on the website, as a widget and as a FaceBook app.
I have been racking my brains trying to come up with a concept of a fun games using photos from the website.

So far I can only think of a game, "Card or Trash" along the "love it or hate it" concept, where people can see successive photos from the website. If one likes the photo, one would send it as an ecard to a friend. If one doesn't like the photo then they would "trash it". May be I could keep track of the card vs. trash score to tell a member how much of a "tough critic" he or she is.

I am trying to promote the site as a source of inexpensive original photography art work for people to buy and hang it on their wall. So may be a game theme around house decoration?

Think with me. If you can come up with a better concept for a fun and viral game that would spread the photos of the site and increase traffic, let me know.

I don't care what you use to create the game. The site is written in Cold Fusion. The database is SQLServer.

Once we decide on a game concept and execute it. I will eventually need it to be ported from the website form to widget, MySpace and FaceBook App forms.

In response to several messages about creating puzzle games and "spot the difference games": none of those encourage people to pass on the photos to their friends. I need something viral. Look again at my own idea where you pass the photo to your friends as an ecard if you don't like it, or "trash" it if you don't. And you keep a "card vs trash" score.

To clarify: The site is photography not paintings. The displayed photos are not by me. I get photographers to display their work with me for sale. And I'm trying to increase traffic to the site, so hopefully there will be more sales. And eventually I'd be able to charge photographers an annual fee to display with me.
