A little about me. 1) I have done transcriptions in the past for a friend. 1 hour of audio usually takes me about 3 hours to type. 2) I have done about 30 hours of transcripting for a friend whom I did not charge. I also do data entry, in excel format. I can type 50 WPM as shown in several customer support jobs I have done. 3) I use Express Scribe Transcription Playback Software to play the audio files. This is a free program that allows me to easily start stop the audio using keyboard commands. I can transfer any audio file for use. I use OpenOffice.org for typing. This is also free, and has almost identical output as Microsoft Office. 4) I am able to transcribe audio at a rate of $1.00 an audio hour. 5) I would absolutely love to do a sample. If you could be so kind as to send me a file, I could easily have a sample within 3 hours of receipt. I get instant alerts on my phone when I receive an email to the associated account. 6) I would only like to know how soon I can start, and if there is anything I can do to increase my chances of being selected.
