Description

We're looking to have fairly simple software coded that will help us with marketing our band on a local social networking site. The single function we want the software to perform is to notify us when we browse to the profile page of a member which we have have sent a message to before. This is to prevent sending a member of the social networking site a message multiple times. The URL of a profile page on this social networking site contains a unique member ID, so this should be relatively easy.

This comes down to the following functionality:
1. The ability to automatically read the unique user ID in the profile URL.
2. The ability to detect when a message is sent to a member of the social networking site and subsequently store the member's unique user ID in a file.
3. The ability to display a warning when the software detects that the browser is on the profile of a member who has been contacted before based on the unique IDs stored in the file mentioned under 2.
