Description

We want to make one dimension of our Joomla site interactive with Facebook. Our users take a personality test that yields a report stored on our site in the DB and is accessible by users under a tab in the My Page section of Joomla Community Builder. The test is completed and functional. (Note: this job requires using our software, not the existing quiz software on FB, unless the FB software can be made to do things we believe it does not do.)

Desired result : Users of our test click on an icon on their score page that says, “Show my results on Facebook.” This installs an widget with our logo and several lines of text in their Facebook Frontpage. The text informs viewers of two key items from the users score report. Links in the widget enable viewers to go to pages with more info about the user, per below, and comment on this info.

Tasks:
1. Write a script accessed by a button installed on our site that says: “Show my preferred conflict styles on Facebook.” The script will install a widget in the left menu of the user’s Facebook frontpage (see instructions for creating that widget in task 2)
2. Create a widget that displays in the left menu of a Facebook user’s frontpage. The widget will include our logo (which we will provide) and display three lines of text:
a) “My scores are X and Y.” The X and Y values will be taken from the score page of the user’s test report which is stored on our site; you will advise whether or not to store a copy of that report on Facebook for easier access by the widget or whether to call it from our site).
b) “My tips for friends and colleagues when we disagree.” This text will have a link to a tab in the user’s My Page of Community Builder that was created by the user (or stored on the Facebook site depending on your advice)(See task 3 below about the creation and storage of this tab)
c) “Give me feedback on my tips.” This will take viewers to a page where they can write feedback to the user about the tips. Although comments will be written by viewers, this page will remain under control of the user and can be edited by the user.

3. Set up a tab under Community Builder My Page on our site so that users can write their suggestions for how their friends should handle them in conflict. We will provide all text for this page.
