Description

Design a non-profit website with the ease-of-use and clean look-and-feel of www.democrats.org. This includes the page split format. Initially there will be approximately 10-15 pages.

1) Ability to easily publish articles onto the site (standard format for all articles) with users able to search for key terms to find these articles later in time. Like a blog only the most recent articles (currently 2 authors) will be featured on front page in a small box with a small description and a link to the actual article. Each article gets its own page. Below each article is information and a small picture of the author. Currently, although there are two authors there will be more in the future. Only an administrator can "feature" an article (put it on the front page)

2) Sections of sponsorship needed such as a small ad section on the right and below.

3) Attractive donation page detailing where the money will be used and a link with PayPal.

4) VBulletin Forums are already in place so a button will be needed on the menu bar. The VBulletin permissions are preferable to use to keep security simple. Publish the top 5 hottest topics on the front page with links (ex:www.hannity.com)

5) Video section to link to other websites like youtube.com and upload our own. Videos should be sorted by date. Small square section on front page for featured video.

This is for a not-for-profit organization. The budget on this is very tight but preference is given to clean coded modular pages so that the developer can be contacted in the future for additions. Template pages must be provided for smaller, lesser content pages to be created by us.
