Hi... I have worked on ffmpeg quite a few times.. installation, making sure it can convert any type of video and to extent where that video can also be played on cell phone... (please take a look at the latest article on my blog... http://surabisantosh.blogspot.com had written just couple of weeks ago as I was working on a similar project.). There are lot of things to takecare of... 1. Processor speed, make sure only so many number of videos are being converted at a time. 2. Once the video is converted, put the video in the right folder and update the DB. 3. Generate XML for it to play, actually play with any player.. I understand your bid is $250, so had to put in $250 in there.. but my charge would be $400 as it takes just more work than that.

In which wen user upload their any video file(i.e .dat. .avi etc) it will autometically canvert it to flash file and create a tumnail(.jpg). you need ffmpeg support enable on server.
