Description

Need to upgrade VB 6.0 customized software to .net 2.0 for an electronic mobile prepaid card vending machine.

About Vending Machine: This an assembled unit containing 1) Touch screen computer( where VB 6 software running), GPT Bill acceptor(www.gptworld.com, for collecting currency), and thermal printer(for printing prepaid mobile cards).

Workflow: GPT Bill acceptor connected to touchscreen computer using RS232 port and thermal printer connected using normal printer port. Customer insert money using GPT Bill acceptor, BIll acceptor will validate it, if it is recognised currency then system will ask to customer select card name and denomination. Once customer selected option using touch screen, system will take pin numbers from access database and will print prepaid card pin number to customer using thermal printer.

Objective: Right now system is working but have some bugs, that is why planning to change .net 2.0
