hello sir, You have already design the outline of project, u just want to the internal implementation. You want some procedures which will read from IDF file. I dont understand the below part " Four C++ procedures will need embedding into the GUI, but these can either be re-written in Qt or compiled and run as stand-alone binaries with standard I/O handlers. After guiding the end-user through the wizard, the application then must simply stream every GUI selectable option to a text based output-file." Hello,I've more than 8 years c++ experience. I've used QT in several project. Some of them are desktop version for Windows/Linux, the other are embeded version for ARM device. Besides QT, I used some other GUI library such as MFC, WxWidgets, SDL,FLTK, etc. I also have enough experience on other field such as network communication.

If it's just a single project, then a seperate splash-screen seems a bit redundant. But it's not, so there is no problem. And, besides the wizard, there must be other dialog to select input and output file(s) for example. But these dialogs are ready to use in Qt, so there is no problem either. Then my question is, do I need to write code to parse the IDF file by myself, or this functionality has already been implemented by one of four functions provided by you?

Hi, I have several years of experience in Qt development. Currently I work with Qt4 and would recommend to consider switching to it since it has many advanced featured compared to Qt3. If you can do that then I am interested in your project details. As for this small task, I could even do it for free, just to prove my skills. By the way, since you said your project is big, is it planned to organize a team of developers or you are looking for only one?
